Choosing Your Eyewear To Suit Your Style- Men’s Fashion

Individual fashion choices can be the best way to create a unique, personal image. But whether you choose to dress for functionality or flair, there is a glasses style to suit you. With these lifestyle scenarios paired with the perfect pair of frames, shopping has never been so easy.

The high-flyer

Do you fly a helicopter to the office on a Monday morning? Do you own more than one sports car? Or perhaps you just want to look like you do... The High-Flyer is accomplished, powerful and wealthy with a classic, smart sense of style, often involving a tailored suit and shiny shoes- think Barack Obama/James Bond. For this look, the ideal pair of glasses have dark frames in a classic rectangular shape, ideal for glowering down at your employees. Designer brands are an ideal choice for projecting an image of a life of luxury and ease. Sunglasses for this kind of businessman should have dark tinted lenses; again, designer brands are preferable.

The laid-back guy

For the laid-back look, basically, anything goes. But if you’re not interested in power-dressing, you can afford to have more fun with your eyewear- think boy band members on a day off. Coloured frames are a good choice, though avoid anything too bright; dark blue or green are ideal. As for sunglasses, the same rule applies; more interesting shaped-frames and colours can be worn. Sunglasses can be worn tucked into the front of a shirt or pocket because the key is to look relaxed and comfortable.

                                                                                                                                                                                                           The quirky geek
A regular at music festivals and shopping centres, quirky geeks should wear cool retro frames. Wayfarers and semi-rimless wayfarers are the ideal shape for retro style and with a tortoiseshell frame, geeky chic is an easy look to create. Ray Bans are the classic brand choice for retro frames but try looking further afield for a more unique look. However, for the full geeky image you should experiment with your wardrobe; skinny jeans and cardigans are a must.

 The sports fanatic

The sports fanatic is a common sight on the football field or local gym. For this look, a pair of bright frames is ideal, preferably with reflective coloured lenses. Sports brands such as Adidas and Oakley are reliable for delivering quality eyewear with an emphasis on performance. In terms of frame shape, wraparound visor is a popular look for both style and functionality. Try wearing with some sparkling white trainers for the whole look.

 The intellectual

Head down to your local library and you’ll be sure to spot a few pairs of intellectual-style spectacles. For this look, they key is to appear serious, reliable and studious. Try a simple rectangular frame shape, preferably with narrow metal arms and nose bridge. Oval is lenses also make a good alternative, but avoid other more adventurous styles, as they can appear more frivolous and less serious. Rimless frames are also a great choice for this style because they are minimal, classic and sensible, delivering optimum functionality.
So whatever your lifestyle (or your lifestyle ambitions), choose your eyewear to suit your preferred image. Or alternatively, try thinking outside the box and be imaginative with your glasses; it’s all down to your individual choice.

The Other Side Of ME

Jacket: ARMANI EXCHANGE (DIY studs)
Shades: DIY
Watch: SWISCARDIN

Hello Folks!
If you haven't noticed, my outfit posts are mostly preppy and teeny which is why I've decided to have a look that represents the rebel side of myself. I can't say that I am the rebellious type of person but I'm not a saint neither. I am so glad to share this with you guys for this edgy look is one of the looks that makes me proud of. I have worked hard just to complete this look, I looked for studs and spikes to make the sunglasses and jacket more appropriate to what I want.

So what do you think guys? Is it a YAY or NAY?
If it's a YAY, please don't forget to HYPE. lol

'Till next time!

Cool photos right?! Honestly I envy them and hey, who wouldn't? I love it a million times.
I guess these photos would be my inspiration for my future look/s. One thing that I like about the photographs is the innocence that the twin acted if not natural. It looks so indie and to be honest I am an indie person, I just don't know if it shows thru my appearance but I know from within that I am.

Enjoy your weekend guys and I hope you can go to church on Sunday.
'till next time.

Soul of a Sailor

Hey Peeps! I'm back with this sailor look of mine. I am wearing my favorite sailor inspired shirt which I got online years ago. I wore this countless already but it is still one of my favorites for it is super unique which makes me look really different from others (I GUESS). I paired it with a striped trouser which I got from the package my mom sent me, my favorite boat shoes from topman , ring that I made and a cross ring, and of course the eyeglasses which I reinvent by putting anchor buttons and chain. The only wrong with this look is ME because I had a bad hair-day which is so obvious in the photos above.

What's new about me? Well, I am so in love with the ABC family's series which is Jane by design. It is so inspiring and will definitely make the youth of today fall in love with it. If you don't know about it yet, please find time to watch it, it will motivate you to pursue your dreams especially the one's who likes to be in a fashion industry. Just to inform you, as I see it, it is somehow a combination of the movies Mean Girls and The Devil Wears Prada. Of course you know those films guys.....
I thought the star of the show looks like Lauren Young, I didn't notice that until the middle episode of the season but FYI season 1 isn't over yet ;)

To be honest, I actually dreaming of them these past few days folks, for real.....LMAO!

'Till next time pretty readers!
Don't forget to hype the look.

LOVE & PEACE!

The Boy in a Preschool outfit

Hello Folks. I have just updated my lookbook.nu account with this outfit which I got from an online store. I really love the shoes I bought in two colors. Which one do you like more? Well, whatever it is, the point is they're both beautiful, aren't they? This look of mine is very simple which is kinda schoolboy attire from preschool.  I have been dreaming of wearing something like this for quite some time ever since I watched "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas" where in the main character wears retro preschool outfit which is way too gorgeous than what I'm wearing, but at least I've tried ;)

Anyway, I am so excited for next week, my newly nursing grad friends are done with their board exam therefore, we will be able to hang-out more often. I have heard that we will be having a fun poker game and mahjong which makes me more excited for I am good at gambling especially in those games.

I have tons of outfit photos in my laptop which only needs to be resize, so stay tuned guys. Have a happy sunday and don't forget to hype the look.

Before I forget, my gal-friend Rawna Maitland just started her blog. Feel free to visit her site and let's support her, she is nice and sweet so don't be ashamed of befriending her. Click here to direct in her page ;)

Love & Peace!

Camp of Cock-Cake!

 Shirt: D&G
Vest: Topman
Shorts: Zara
 Shoes: Topman

Hey Guys, It's been a long time since I blogged and I hate it. >.<
The photos above was taken a few weeks ago when me and my friends; Rawna & Ihra had a fun overnight at Ihra's crib. I was so excited at that time even though I kinda feel feverish because it has been a million years since I talked to Ihra. But I was disappointed to know that after the get together, we have to be parted right away for she is living to Metro for work.

I really missed the fun my friends and I had during college which is why I made a special cake before going to Ihra's. I am not an expert in baking but I really tried my best to make it look good and taste great and I think I did not disappoint them for they are really eating my cake until an idea pops-up in our mind. That topic was so hilarious, we thought of making a bakery since I already know how to bake and the name of the bakery is "Camp of Cock Cake". And we should locate it in front of a church wherein an impersonator of Lady Gaga will be present in the opening and the posters should be a photo of the true Lady Gaga who is eating our special COCK-CAKE while the Lady Gaga haters are rallying in front of the store. Isn't that controversial? OK! Enough for Lady Gaga, it's becoming so obvious that I'm a big fan of hers. We were also planning to take a photo of our customers during their fun-eating time.  finally, the funniest thing is our MENU where will be putting COCK-SIZE, CUT or UNCUT, HARD or NOT, SAFE and UNSAFE, ETC. hahahahaha.... Please excuse us for we are just green minded people who thinks a lot of those stuff when we are together.

I have nothing to say much about my outfit for it speaks for itself. I just hope you like it. mean while, enjoy the video of Lucy Schwartz singing I Want The Sky (LIVE) which is my current Favorite Song!
'Till Next Time Folks.
Love & Peace!

Tear-jerker...

Tear-jerker movies will always be my favorite genre of films. As many people are saying, I am really a depressing person and I remember my classmates call me Mr. depression. These past few days, I am just at home downloading old theme movies or literally old films that will really make my heart tear apart, well that's aside from watching 90210 since I haven't watched that series for a long time. I have watched tons of emotional roller-coaster movies but I guess I should have more rooms for my collection. These are some of my new favorites that I've watched just recently.

MY GIRL
This movie is so sweet and very touching especially when Macaulay died (ooops! SPOILER ALERT) but I supposed you already watched this since Macaulay is so popular until he became a drug addict. ;)

EDWARD SCISSORHANDS
I think girls should watch this film since the fashion here is so inspiring and the story is also great. It will make your heart melt especially in the ending :'(

IN AMERICA
I think this is a very interesting film. At first I thought I made a mistake in choosing this since there seems to have a horror effect but it was just an art of the director to make an exciting part. Overall this is really touching and it made me cry a lot at the end.

SOPHIE'S CHOICE
I love films that are somehow related to World War II. I think it is so dramatic and makes people understand how awful our ancestors have gone through. Of course you can expect great acting from this film since Meryl Streep's the star and you will truly enjoy this since it is in NY.

AMELIE
I think French movies are really fabulous and very artistic. This film is so cute and makes me watch again and again, though I don't think this will make you cry but this will surely make you fall in love.

A SINGLE MAN
Prayer's for Bobby will always be my favorite gay themed movie but I should rate this one as my second favorite gay-dramatic themed film since this also picture out the real adventure of life of homosexuals. What I  also like about this is that it's full of beautiful people.

SHAME
I've always been a fan of Micheal Fassbender and I love all his films but I think this is really a masterpiece and one of his best performances. I enjoyed this movie especially that it makes me wonder what their problem really is and I think it is somehow related to psychology which is the course I've graduated. If you are planning to watch this film, make sure you are of legal age and alone in the room because it is about addiction to sex.

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN
This is indeed my favorite movie of Leonardo DiCaprio. A very interesting true to life based film that will never bore you. The flavor is for everyone; adventurous, funny and dramatic movie that will capture everyone's heart. This will definitely go to my favorite lists and you should watch this even just once, well I already watched it a million times.

MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE
Nicholas Sparks never seems to disappoint his readers and so the director of this film. I can't believe I only watched this movie just recently and I think this is way better than "The Notebook". Sorry to the "The Notebook" fans but I really am touched by this film and to those who haven't watched this yet, you better be the judge.

THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PYJAMAS/PAJAMAS
Aside from the story, one of my criteria in the movie that I truly appreciate is the costume/fashion/style. I would say that among the  movies listed above or even all the movies that I've watched before, this is my most favorite. Look at the outfits that the kids are wearing, those are the outfits that I'm dreaming of and if given the chance, I will definitely live in those times and have fun with those gorgeous clothes. This film really shocked me and made me think very deep and depressed me. You might think at first that this is kinda boring but it is really not considering that it is connected to World War II and it focuses on an 8 year-old boy. This may not tear your eyes at the first part, middle part or even near the ending but the ending itself will make your eyes burst with tears more than any movie will. This is a must see movie and I think this should've been the winner in 2008 if the Slumdog Millionaire didn't make an intriguing thing about lacking of funds and other stuff.

If you watched any movie listed about, tell me what you think about it!
& tell me your favorite tear-jerker movies that I might not have watched yet.

Till next time folks.
LOVE & PEACE!
